Visiting A Friend.

I have been away visiting and working.
And being served tea and breakfast on the back deck.

Her back yard is really just like a secret garden.

The path leads to a little pond.

The pond has it's very own sun bathing Mermaid (Mer-oldmaid?)

And interesting potting arrangements.

A Window Box on the Potting Shed.

I love this bird bath.

Flowers.

View of the City Street from my guest window.
This was a "walking" kind of city.

Rose Petals

A nice basket of Rose Petals.
I collected the Rose petals and all the little buds before Rose pruning began.

Aren't they glorious?

Blue Morning Glory

Surprise, Surprise, they came to the party late!!  My Morning Glory is growing with my Passion Flower.
Last spring I planted the large blue Morning Glories.  I only planted them because I thought my Mutant Tuber Morning Glory had not made it through the winter.   I don't think I can live happily with out Morning Glories!

I do have a left arm!  It is behind my back.  Forgive the "dress", it was the 70's!!!
Here I am , going to the hospital for the birth of my second child. Yes, those are Morning Glories growing in the background.  It was exciting to run out side in the morning to see which colors opened.
I'm a simple girl with simple pleasures!

But my Favorite did live through our unusually hard winter.  I enjoy it every morning!  So I didn't care if the blue one would not bloom.  But now that it has, I must say , it is very pretty.

My Front Garden

I pulled things up and moved them last spring and haven't gotten them right yet.  Too neat for me!
My Front Garden.  I don't seem to take many pictures here although I have some pretty plants.  I spend most of my outside time  sitting on my back porch with Strider.

I thinned out my Fairy Roses and have them spaced along the front.  Always blooming!

A bit of bright color.

Maggie Rose loves being in the front.

She's a beauty!

This was last spring when I planted her!

Fridays Flowers

I love this plant.  Each cluster is like a little posy for a doll!  And different colors grow on the same bush!

The bigger picture of my posy plant (Lantana).

Cute in a jar on the kitchen table.

These Fairy Roses are in my front yard.
And, had to show you my Fairy Roses.  They like the cooler nights and the flowers are showing it.  The pink color is becoming a darker shade of pink. They are very pretty.

I am joining Tootsie for a garden tour!

Out The Window.

Looking out the window of my Dining Room.

Look close at the white flowers on the left.
I have planted some Impatient flowers under my Dining Room window.  You can't see them from the front of the house.

But you can see them when you look out the Dining Room window.
It's like a secret.

I love big bright windows with flowers under them!

I am going on an out door tour with Outdoor Wednesday.  Join me!
