While traveling from Dallas, I stopped in Tyler, Texas. For a purpose. I drove just a little way off Interstate 20 to visit Breedlove Nursery. I was looking for a Rose.
Breedlove Nursery is more than rows of plants offered for sale.
It is also like a lovely garden.
The patio I would like to have at my home!
But, this is the reason I stopped by.
I needed a new Grahm Thomas Rose. Mine died two years ago and I still had not found a replacement. I bought two. Grahm Thomas, I have missed you!!
Ahh, this was a little beauty!
Drift, from the family of easy care Knock Outs.
Brought this little rose home too!
That is a beautiful rose. I planted my first roses last year, 4 knockouts. After enjoying your garden blog, I added Belinda's Dream, and 4 David Austins; Jude the Obscure, Heritage, Glamis Castle, and Tamora. They are just babies, but still bloom quite a bit and what fragrance! Pure joy! (with thorns)
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful there and love your picks to bring home with you. I could have stayed there for hours. Love the patio pavers...what a dreamy place.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tip!
ReplyDeleteWhen I visit my daughter in Dallas, I must go there.
I am looking for a Virgen de Guadalupe Rose.
Have a good week,
