Such a happy flower!
It was a fine welcome to me this morning.
A natural Pick Me Up!
It grows along my little garden fence.
I used to tell my visiting Granddaughter when she was little and eager to start the day early.."don't wake me up until the Morning Glory is open".
The Bees love them.
So do I!
This Morning Glory comes from a Tuber.
Does anyone know the name of it?
Such a pretty flower shape.
All that beauty just for a few hours.
I was joined by a Dragon Fly.
Join me as I visit gardens at Tootsies on Flaunt Your Flowers Friday.
I love Morning Glory. I used to have the wild ones growing at my old place. This year, I bought a potted one as they're annuals here in the Maritimes. BUT I may just stick it in the ground somewhere and see what it does! Your's are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Jeannie. Oh, your morning glory is so pretty blooming along your fence. Great capture of the Dragonfly. I cannot get them or even bribe them to set still for me long enough LOL!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Morning Glory. I tried to transplant some wild ones into my yard last year. I thought they died, but they've been growing this year. No flowers, yet, though. My fingers are crossed.
ReplyDeleteLove the Morning Glories, here too they are annuals. My first morning glory opened yesterday :) I didn't post this week ... busy cleaning the computer. I need memory!! lol
ReplyDeleteMaybe next week...
Enjoy your weekend ~
Oh, your garden is so pretty. I love the fence around it, too, and the dragon fly resting on one of the posts. It really is a lovely garden.

I used to have a small greenhouse that was not very attractive...I would wrap it in chicken wire each year...and plant the morning glories all around it...the thing was wonderful when it grew up all over...looked like a flower house!
ReplyDeleteYours are so pretty...makes me miss having them in my garden...next year for sure...they were just added to the seed order for 2011! thanks for flaunting with me!
The little things bring so much pleasure. Your photos are great.
