This is the first year I remembered to plant Sweet Peas in the fall.
I love the way they smell!
A room with a view!
I can see them when standing at my kitchen sink.
In all their multicolored glory.
The Sunbonnet Baby
See the pretty sweet peas
Growing in the sun;
How they lift their faces up,
Laughing every one,
So the sun may peep inside
Their pink bonnets, big and wide.

I like to cut them and put them on my table...
and use them for photographs of my real job.
Perfectly Sweet!! Peas!!

Sweet peas are so good to photograph. I photographed some of mine lat summer at night. It was an interesting picture. You have some great color combination's planted together. Very pretty. The picture with the little dress is so precious. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love sweet peas! I used to grow them all the time at our old place - they would just come back every year. I need to get some started here!

I love your sweet peas! I am totally amazed they are blooming - I planted mine the first of April and they aren't even peeking through the ground yet. Wow I am amazed - thank so much for sharing, Paula in Idaho

I love Sweet Peas! Ours are just a few inches high now, but seeing yours makes me excited for mine to bloom. I love the little lavender bouquet of them.
ReplyDeleteI love Sweet Peas too! I got them started a few years ago, now they reseed themselves. Love to see where they pop up at

I love the colors of your sweet peas! I hope the ones I had last year seeded themselves. I haven't seen any so far, but I'm in zone 5b.
