The Lovely Graham Thomas Rose

This is a David Austin rose.
I absolutely adore this rose.
The color is the perfect deep butter yellow.   The smell is wonderful!
The shape from the bud to the full bloom is exquisite.
The rose grows fairly tall here in Louisiana and the roses are good for cutting.  They stay pretty upright on their stem.  There is a Graham Thomas climbing rose too but this isn't one of them.
Everyone who comes into my rose garden heads straight for this rose!
Bugs don't bother it too much but I have to watch for black spot.

It lives in a raised bed on the corner.  I am thinking about getting one more to go where the purple petunias are now.  There is room and then I would have twice as many to cut!!  Because it's in the back yard and you can't really see it from the patio or house, I am more inclined to cut it.

And I like to send Roses home with my friends.
