A Corner of My Garden or How My Garden Grows!

My Back Corner Garden on April 7, 2011
How does my Garden Grow?

I have been meaning to post a picture of my back garden but didn't get to it before it changed.

So, join me over the course of a few short weeks.

I was so proud in March!  My Peggy Martin Rose was climbing and blooming.  Blooms were popping everywhere!  I wanted to share it with you.

And then it changed!  My Home Run Rose on the left began to bloom and so did my Foxglove and my Katy Road Pink.

And then the Katy Road Pink went crazy with blooming!  And the Home Run Rose was not to be out done!

Well, I picked the Katy Road Pink Roses and the Peggy Martin really started to bloom.

I only thought Peggy Martin Rose was blooming before.  It is amazing!

And my Foxglove grew more stalks.  And on the other side of the fence...Heritage is blooming.

It takes my breath away!

I am joining Tootsie today!!

  1. Jeannie, this is just the most beautiful bed of roses. Is this an peninsula that you made in your yard? I love how you made a raised bed and the corner. It looks fresh, clean and tidy. I like it.
    Have a great weekend, girl!

  2. So beautiful. They seem to be trying to outdo each other and the result is a brilliant display.

  4. How gorgeous! I just love rose. I'm jealous of your foxglove and can tell you live south of me (I'm in LA. too). Mine are still thinking about putting up any flowering stalks. I can't wait.

  9. The posts from our England trip are probably around late September of 2010; several posts with blurbs about all of the gardens we visited. I'm off to Birmingham tomorrow for a tour of the native plant collection with my friend John Manion, and then going to Petals from the Past to get Peggy Martin!
