Lily of The Nile

I love these flowers.  I love that the color is blue. My favorite color.

Agapanthus.  I like to say the name Agapanthus.  It is such a cool word.
Lily of the Nile is a prettier name though.

Beautiful transformation!

My Agapanthus lives on both sides of my Front Garden.  If you look close you can see it on the right behind the little Crepe Myrtle tree.

Here it is.

The plant doesn't always die back in the winter which is nice.  And I like the fluffy leaves in my garden even without flowers.

  1. You're making me homesick! I love agapanthus. It doesn't grow in Santa Fe as a perennial.

  2. I've been thinking for quite sometime that my garden needs a few agapanthus. You have convinced me... anything blue captures my heart!

  4. Hi Jeannie. I love looking at your front garden beds. So pretty. I love this blue flower. Your not near the river are you? So much flooding going on this spring. I see you have 75 degrees today. I would love that instead of this cold rainy 50 we have today. I think our weather here is going the wrong way. LOL!

  6. I so miss agapanthus from when we lived in California! Love the views of your front garden. Of course a garden always looks better with such a pretty house as a backdrop :-)
